Superb yacht building facilities
While Bloemsma Van Breemen is a relative newcomer in the superyacht construction market, we have already built twelve boats with world-leading design houses.
Our capacity has been extended with two new state-of-the art building halls, complete with heated floors, and the total yard area is 20,000 m˛. The latest technology and indoor environmental techniques ensure you the highest level of building quality. As a result, we can now create a customised masterpiece on your behalf of up to 65 metres in length.

Top ten performances
Six classic Hoek Design sailing yachts include the 80’ Mulligan and the 74’ Copihue, which returned to the yard after a three-year world cruise. We’ve also built four very different customised yachts: The 60’ Vripack Doggersbank motoryacht Trewes, the 59’ Beeldsnijder motoryacht Maskot, the 82’ Hoek Design sailing yacht Bharlin Blue (winner of the 2003 Heineken Regatta), the revolutionary 96’ Vripack Doggersbank Offshore motoryacht Que Sera and the 90’ classic De Vries Lentsch Design motoryacht Griffioen.
The largest yacht launched at our yard is the 158' Reymond Langton Design Flying Eagle, finalist of the international Superyacht Society Award 2006.
The success story is continuing apace with two contrasting designs currently under construction: a 134' Dubois Design sailing yacht and a 143' Pieter Beeldsnijder Design motoryacht.
A little history
Our yard’s origins go back to 1974. Some 136 customised steel & aluminium hulls and superstructures were built under the name Jachtwerf Bloemsma of Makkum. In 1997, Nico van Breemen’s technical installation company took over the operations and the hugely experienced workforce.
