The finest yachts
Vitters Shipyard is a renowned builder of the finest sailing and motoryachts. Our portfolio includes a number of exclusive boats such as the sailing yachts Gimlä, Adèle and Ghost and the powerboats Dardanella, Jules Verne, Timeless and Ninemia. You may also have heard of the recently launched Mystère, which generated considerable media publicity.
Currently there are four yachts under construction under which “Nirvana”, a 176’ ft. ketch by Dubois Naval Architects with an interior of GCA Arquitectes and “Boreas”, a 168 ft. sloop designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects. The third project under construction is “Sunshine”, a 39 meter sailing yacht by
Tripp Design with a carbon composite hull and superstructure. Our latest project is a 44 meter sailing yacht designed by Dubois Naval Architects.

Sophisticated facilities
Our modern premises include two construction sheds with capacity for yachts of up to 70 metres in length. We have approximately 60 experienced staff and employ a comprehensive network of highly skilled subcontractors and suppliers.
Modern methods
The Vitters’ workforce is dedicated to the constant improvement of both yachts and the construction process, working in partnership with the engineering & project management teams. High-quality suppliers and subcontractors support our expertise with their products for the construction and interior design of your dreams. Vitters’ yachts incorporate all the modern features you might expect, such as lightweight construction, stiffness and high-tech monitoring, as well as the latest control systems. All our yachts comply with the rules of classification societies as well as the latest safety rules.
Unique versatility
We have been privileged to work with a great number of owners on projects reflecting a wide variety of yacht types. Building both power and sailing yachts offers us unique challenges, and our experience in both fields has grown exponentially. As yachts evolve in size and complexity, the demand on us and our partners increase. It is an ongoing challenge which we are more than ready to meet.
