Our enviable reputation has been earned through the consistent production of renowned superyachts such as Ilona, Solemar, Montkaj and Tigre d’Or. When you commission Amels to build a yacht, you can be certain of engaging a superlative workforce with a range of skills second to none. Few can match our track record: Every yacht we have ever built is still in service today, usually at a market value much higher than the original cost price.
Superlative facilities
A major advantage for Amels is the scale of our dockage, covered building halls, cranage and fabrication machinery. In 2000, we acquired the Royal Schelde Group, gaining superb additional facilities and engineering expertise, as well as sophisticated CAD capability. Enormous capacity coupled with cutting-edge machinery and processes ensure our competitive edge. We can build you a yacht up to 204 metres (669’) in length.
Refit experts
Amels expertise in building the world’s most desirable yachts is perfectly matched by our ability to refit and repair them. Our extensive facilities have allowed us to become one of the most highly recommended shipyards for refits, no matter how delicate, complex or ambitious your requirements may be.
