The yard is family-owned and was established in 1884. The “Royal” warrant, awarded in 1984, recognised 100 years of quality and excellence – a highly prized accolade that is earned neither rapidly nor easily. This enables the yard to blend its own infrastructure and skills with the latest advances and techniques in niche areas of expertise as it constantly strives to optimise quality, efficiency and value.
