Nieuwburg’s mission is to be Europe’s most innovative system supplier for thermal, acoustic and fire insulation to the yachting and marine industries. We understand that the comfort requirements of owners are constantly evolving. In response, our R&D team delights in raising the barrier in terms of weight, noise reduction and protection against fire. Our technology centre has developed a new generation of lightweight non-combustible CE materials. Working in partnership
The first stage of any project we might do together will involve a comprehensive survey and assessment of all vessel sections, including accommodations, hull side, bulkheads, ceilings, floors, plant/engine rooms and the hot & cold pipe systems. Only when everything has been meticulously prepared will our skilled and experienced engineers start with the application of state-of-the-art, lightweight, fire-resistant insulation materials. Again, noise and vibration attenuation are always given a high priority, and all our work is certified in accordance with MCA and Lloyds.
The importance of customisation
We know you need a wide range of special options when it comes to insulating a superyacht. The flexibility of our organisation means we can provide customised solutions for the insulation of engine rooms, superstructures & accommodations, exhaust systems, fuel systems, and hot & cold water systems. As a system supplier for the marine industry, we also produce and install a wide range of gaskets in different materials for pump hoses and coupling systems.
