

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands is enjoying a very busy time with a number of fine yachts recently launched and several new ones slated for delivery in the near future. In addition, the yard’s extra new facility in Zoeterwoude Rijndijk will be ready in the next few weeks. This site will open a new era for Mulder Shipyard, which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2013. The existing yard in Voorschoten will stay open and be used for maintenance, refit and storage of yachts of up to 18 metres.

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands continues to go from strength to strength. The most recent new order is from a Russian client who has commissioned the construction of the first Mulder 95 Voyager. The exterior of this groundbreaking model is the brainchild of Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, while Vripack Naval Architects is responsible for construction and naval architecture. Construction on the hull will get underway soon, while the launch and delivery under RINA Class, are slated for the spring of 2014. read more

Mulder Shipyard has successfully delivered a new Mulder Convertible 72 to her owner. Based on the successful Mulder 68 Convertible but at 22 metres considerably larger, the yacht is the largest convertible built by the yard to date. With her unique colours, deluxe appearance and superb finish, the yacht has an exceptionally elegant character. Her interior also offers the finest possible combination between the finest materials and the Mulder Convertible 72 deserves to be called a superyacht in every respect. read more

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands will be presenting the new Mulder 73 Flybridge to the public at the HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show from 4 to 9 September. Built for an Australian client, the yacht was designed by Guido de Groot.
The new Mulder 73 Flybridge has an overall length of 22.30m and a beam of 6.20m. Featuring two Caterpillar C18 engines, with a capacity of 1150 hp each, she will have a top speed of around 20 knots, while the fuel tank, with a capacity of 1,200 litres, ensures a range of approximately 3,500 nm at a speed of ten knots. read more

The construction of the new 30-metre Mulder 98 Flybridge is currently in full swing. In consultation with the client, Mulder Shipyard commissioned Frank Laupman of Omega Architects to design the interior of this boat. Omega has previously designed the interior of the second Bellagio, which was recently sold by Mulder Shipyard. The Bellagio is constructed under the Built by Mulder label. read more

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands has started construction of the new Mulder 98 Flybridge, the contracts for which were signed earlier this year. The yacht has been designed by Guido de Groot with Jaron Ginton in charge of the naval architecture. The Mulder 98 Flybridge is being built for a client from Russia, and will be delivered in the second quarter of 2013. read more

Robust elegance
Mooie Nel is a new Mulder 55 Explorer built for a client from the Netherlands. Although most Mulder yachts head for the Mediterranean region, she will mainly be cruising in Northern Europe and be berthed close to the Mulder yard in Voorschoten (NL), As the first Explorer yacht in the Mulder Shipyard range, Mooie Nel (mooie means beautiful in Dutch) is a landmark project in many respects. Mulder Shipyard created Mooie Nel under its ‘Built by Mulder’ label, which offers clients the opportunity to utilise the expertise and craftsmanship of Mulder Shipyard and realise their own design for their dream yacht. Naturally, the design needs to be in line with the character and quality standards applied by the yard. read more

Mulder Shipyard’s managing director Dick Mulder has laid the first foundations of a brand-new facility in the Netherlands, twenty minutes south of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The special ceremony marked the end of several years of planning on a multi-million-euro investment situated ten kilometres from the current Mulder facility. read more

Bellagio Yachts in the Netherlands has made considerable progress on Bellagio over the past months together with Vripack and Mulder Shipyard. Mulder started building the yacht a few weeks ago, with work currently proceeding on the aluminium hull.
Bellagio is being constructed under the label ‘built by Mulder’. This offers clients the possibility to contract the expertise of Mulder Shipyard for realising a dream yacht based on designs of their own. Mulder Shipyard was established seventy years ago this year and to mark this auspicious occasion the yard has decided to breath new life into the Mulder Favorite. Originally introduced in the 1950s, an all-new aluminium version is launched in 2011. The 21st-century Mulder Favorite will be available in three types - 1400, 1500 and 1600 – and built to stunning new designs developed in close cooperation with Guido de Groot and Vripack Naval Architects.
