Hakvoort means Hakvoort
One of the unique features you’ll find at Hakvoort is that most aspects of the design, engineering and construction process remain in our own hands. More than 90 experienced staff work in two enclosed, temperature-controlled docking and construction halls, a metal workshop and a large quayside operation. And then there is Unlimited Interiors, Hakvoort’s own joinery workshops, with a total area of 2500 m². Here, some 30 dedicated carpenters create perfect superyacht interiors for Hakvoort yachts, sub-contractually for other yards and independently on customised projects. We also offer you purpose-built facilities for major refits.
The personal touch
Located in the historic port of Monnickendam, boats have been built on the Hakvoort yard site since 1780. The Hakvoort family has been at the helm since 1919, and families of craftsmen have worked with us for generations. While the impeccable quality of yachts such as Lady Duvera, Lady Marina and Flamingo Daze have helped make Hakvoort one of the world’s leading yards, you’ll never forget the personal approach you’ll encounter when building your yacht in tiny Monnickendam.
