Feadship has launched the 67.27m (220’8”) Drizzle at the Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw yard in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. She has been created for clients who were inspired by the 2005 Feadship Twizzle, of which they were the second owners and had renamed Drizzle. Although taken by the World Superyacht Award winning vessel, they decided to create their very own Drizzle, entirely custom-built to their specific preferences. The result is an exceptional yacht almost 12 metres longer and proportionally wider, higher and deeper, that still preserves the beauty of the original 55m De Voogt design.

In an extraordinary day even by Feadship’s standards, Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw and Royal Van Lent each launched a giant Feadship for delighted owners on Saturday 26 March 2011. The 81-metre Air instantly becomes the largest Feadship available for charter in the world as well as being the largest yacht built by the De Vries Aalsmeer yard to date.
