New yachts from many Dutch builders can now be accessed via a single central website. The HISWA Orange Yachts portal provides a representative range of Dutch new-built yachts, aimed at an international public. Focused on the segment up to 24 metres, the selection varies from launches and tenders to sail and motoryachts.
The website is the first time that Dutch yachtbuilders have been able to collectively present their new range online to an international clientele. In addition to perusing the latest products from various yards, visitors can also use the website to compare yachts based on factors such as category, builder or price.
The HISWA Orange Yachts site contains detailed information and a wealth of images. It is expected to develop into a central location where interested yacht buyers can quickly gain a clear overview of what the Dutch yacht industry has to offer. After selecting their yachts, website visitors can save their favourites and download information. This allows consumers to familiarise themselves with the market prior to meeting the yachtbuilder of their choice.
“The Netherlands is among the international elite when it comes to yachtbuilding,” says participant Jan Muller of C-Yacht. “This is not just the case in the superyacht segment, for which Holland is rightly famous, but also in the category up to 24 metres. HISWA Orange Yachts will help further strengthen our excellent international reputation for top quality. The website will show the countless fine yachts that are built in the Netherlands and offers something for every type of sailor.” The Dutch yachtbuilding sector is known for its huge diversity of yachts, many of which are (semi) custom built.
The website of HISWA Orange Yachts - www.orangeyachts.com – will go online on Friday 20 January 2012, just before the start of Boot Düsseldorf in Germany which takes place from 21 to 29 January. Ten of the 26 participants in the website will also be present at the boat show.
