The Fall 2011 season has yielded an exceptional harvest of awards for Royal Huisman yachts, their owners, designers and builders.
Unstoppable Twizzle
The elegant 57.5m (189ft) ketch Twizzle has appeared unstoppable this year as she seized the attention of awards juries for almost every aspect of her design and build. In May she was voted Best Custom Yacht at the Asia Boating Awards; the next day she received Judges’ Commendation as a finalist for Best 45m+ Sailing Yacht at the World Superyacht Awards in London.
Not content with these accolades she added four more in October:
At the International Superyacht Society Design Awards:
At the ShowBoats Design Awards:
Many congratulations to Twizzle's owners, designers Redman, Whiteley Dixon and Todhunter Earle Associates and to Dubois Naval Architects.
Unassailable Ethereal
Two years after her 2009 delivery, the highly regarded 58m (190ft) ketch Ethereal continues to draw admiration for her advanced technologies.
At the ShowBoats Design Awards:
At the Perseus Awards in Florida:
Royal Huisman congratulate owners Bill and Shannon Joy, designers Ron Holland Design and Pieter Beeldsnijder, and the yard’s own technical teams, together with the many specialist advisers and contractors who supported their development work.
