Opened in 2007 after a multi-million refurbishment, our construction halls and workshops are state of the art. Investments are ongoing in every area and a further expansion of the yard is expected in the near future. Uniquely for this part of the world, the slipway installation lifts vessels of up to 1200 tons out of the water. Balk Shipyard is less than a one-hour drive from Amsterdam.
