On May 21 Hakvoort Shipyard in Holland launched the 44.9-metre luxury motor yacht YN 246. A glorious moment for her owner to see his dream yacht in the water. Designed with a displacement-type hull shape, she features flared V-sections in the bow, large overhangs, a raised main deck wheelhouse and a canoe stern.
The main deck features the main tender at starboard side, a bathing platform amidships and a large tender garage on the foredeck. A well equipped galley and comfortable nanny cabin are found on the portside. Located on a raised area forward on the main deck, the wheelhouse features a state-of-the-art integrated bridge arrangement.
The upper deck is reserved for the owners, with a dedicated lounge that opens onto a lovely aft space. The owner’s suite features a full-beam stateroom with luxurious his and her bathrooms and include a study with Pullman bed.
Fine ensuite accommodations are found on the lower deck, which contains four guest staterooms. The comfortable crew quarters include a well-equipped mess, a captain’s cabin, four bunked bedded crew cabins and smart connections to storage areas and technical spaces.
The sundeck features a dumbwaiter station, sunbathing areas, an outdoor shower, bar facilities and a whirlpool bath.
YN 246 is scheduled for delivery in July 2011.
