February 2011 - After the Italian boat builder “Gamma Yachts International” launched the Gamma 20 past summer, Vripack start designing her little sister; the Gamma 16. It was a big adventure for Vripack to keep all the high quality elements of the Gamma 20 in a yacht which is 4 meters smaller. But the creative team is trained to find a perfect solution for every challenge and therefore also the Gamma 16 is marked with high value materials, which are being used in a very smart way.
The interior of the Gamma 16 can be defined as extremely spacious, suitable for 6 guests and 2 crew members. A complete galley, salon, dinette, all are present. The trendy exterior of this semi-planing yacht comes with a 360° panoramic wheelhouse letting plenty of sunlight flow inside. The two Volvo 575hp engines take care of the propulsion and enable her to achieve a top speed of 16 knots, and a range of about 1200 nautical miles at an economic cruise.
The hull of this innovative little ship is an one-piece monolithic structure which offers great comfort and safety. A very important aspect is that, after the success of the Gamma 20, also the Gamma 16 is going to be build by Vripack’s proprietary construction method, called Smart Kit®. This construction method offers an extremely high detail 3D engineering process and is executed by a simple production technique saving hundreds of metal production hours.
