June 2012 - What is most striking when you look at the NED 70 of the Dutch company Ned Yacht is the length/width ratio of 4:1. The slender shape of this stunning new motoryacht is accentuated by the angle of the windows in the wheelhouse and the shape of the stanchions. This brand new motoryacht was designed by the international well-known Vripack Naval Architects according to the so-called ‘LDL-principle’. This means that not the ships volume is essential, but the lines of the ship itself are leading in the design. Of course the completely aluminium NED 70 is provided with all luxury you can image. June 2012 – The Frisian Maritime Museum is a versatile museum showing the history of Frisian shipping from the 17th until the 20th century. Apart from the Frisian shipping and shipbuilding, the museum presents a picture of water sports in Sneek and the Southwest of Friesland and from the 2nd of June until the 2nd of September the museum will hold an exposition about 50 years of Vripack. read more
May 2012 – The Frisian Solar Challenge is the biggest sustainable event of the Netherlands. The event focuses on the design and construction of ultra-light and fast solar boats which are strong enough to endure the hardship of a long-distance race (220 KM) along the 11 famous Frisian cities. August 2010 – Vripack successfully delivered an interesting 60ft Multi Purpose Tender in cooperation with Dutch company Sima Charters. This Multi Purpose Tender, named SC Puma is perfectly suitable for countless activities in the offshore sector. Vripack’s challenge regarding this project was to fit all its practical knowledge in a perfect design without having to make any concessions. This was not an easy task and all along the process there were heavy demands on both Vripack and the builder but in the end all parties can be extremely proud due to their patience, self-confidence and the spectacular final result. read more
